Prenatal Massage

Prenatal or pregnancy massage is a specialized therapy designed for pregnant women. Unlike regular massage, prenatal massage focuses on ensuring the woman’s comfort and safety through proper positioning supported by pillows and padding.

The benefits of prenatal massage include potential stress reduction, alleviation of swelling in the arms and legs, and relief from muscle and joint aches and pains, particularly in cases of back pain as suggested in alternative medicine.

It’s important to note that women with certain health conditions may not be suitable candidates for prenatal massage. If considering this therapy, consulting with your doctor beforehand is recommended. Additionally, we adhere to guidelines that restrict prenatal massages during the first trimester unless specifically authorized by the woman’s doctor and approved by the massage therapist.
