Post-Operation Lymphatic Drainage

Post Operative Massage is a combination of massage techniques to accelerate
the healing process of the patient after a surgical procedure. Its main objective
is to eliminate surgery inflammation and largely correct irregularities on the skin
caused by fibrosis.

Fibrosis is an effect that takes over the vast majority of patients following a surgical procedure. If the patient feels hardening of the skin tissue, balls, or deformations in the area subject to any kind of surgery they will be in the presence of fibrosis and then will require a post-surgical treatment.

The application of Post Operative Massage depends on the patient’s medical condition and will be supplied after prior assessment of our specialists who recommend that this treatment starts within 3-5 days after the surgery.

Our recommendation is at least 5 sessions of Post Operative massage per patient, and between 10-12 sessions is the ideal number of therapies that each patient should receive.

*Our treatment of 60 minutes is recommended for one operated area, a 90 minute session is recommended for multiple operated areas.

Tips for after your surgery

Post Operation lymphatic drainage massage accelerates postoperative recovery. The swelling and bruising disappears faster if you get your sessions of manual lymphatic drainage between two or three days after your surgery. The risk of developing fibrosis decreases considerably when you receive postoperative lymphatic drainage massage. Remember that manual lymphatic drainage massage is nothing casual and should be administered by a certified massage therapist in manual lymphatic drainage and postoperative body treatments.

+ Ultrasound Cavitation and Radiofrequency

After surgery, we offer a specialized combination of post-operative lymphatic drainage and ultrasonic cavitation to optimize recovery. This tailored approach enhances drainage efficiency and softens postoperative areas. Ultrasonic cavitation, which can begin as early as three weeks post-surgery, complements this process by aiding in the removal of fat and cellulite. Additionally, our treatments incorporate radiofrequency therapy after four weeks post-op, which accelerates healing, reduces swelling, and further enhances body contouring results. Experience the comprehensive benefits of our therapies, designed to sculpt and rejuvenate your body effectively. Discover how our advanced techniques can support your journey to a smoother, more contoured appearance.

*Ultrasound cavitation can be only done 3 weeks after surgery, and radio frequency can be added on after 4 weeks.

How does the Ultra Cavitation Device work?

Ultrasonic Cavitation utilizes low-frequency energy to target and dissolve fat in specific problem areas, typically the abdomen. This non-invasive technique is highly effective and can be safely administered starting from three weeks post-surgery. When combined with Radiofrequency (RF) therapy, which stimulates collagen production and tightens skin, it enhances the overall results, providing a smoother and more contoured appearance.

Benefits of Ultrasonic Cavitation

  • Reduces cellulite, and helps to prevent it in the future
  • Reduces the appearance of orange skin
  • Rejuvenates the skin in the treatment area
  • Reduces superficial surface blemishes along the skin’s surface
  • Helps destroy fat cells
  • It is purely non-invasive, simply uses a hand-held massage device
  • Leaves no scarring
  • 0 downtime
  • Post-op treatment
  • Body sculpting & contouring
  • Weight loss

It is recommended to undergo 2-5 sessions per week of lymphatic drainage starting 24-48 hours after surgery. Prior to surgery, lymphatic drainage also provides significant benefits. Pre-surgery, 2-5 treatments are suggested, with the final session ideally scheduled 24-48 hours before the procedure. These treatments prepare your body by aiding in fluid clearance, detoxification, and the removal of cellular debris. By cleansing tissues at the site of future incisions, lymphatic drainage reduces the risk of infection. Additionally, it accelerates the production of lymphocytes, crucial white blood cells that play a vital role in immune defense.
